We have emphasized this Lent the theme of Living in Christ. We continue this evening, Maundy Thursday, with a service of communion and reflection of the pointed theme: Dying in Christ in order to truly Live in Christ. Then comes Easter, when we realize that death is overcome and life in all its abundance and exuberance (that-just-so-happens will never end) is ours. May God bless this day and each day as we live in Christ.

Spaghetti Fundraiser is Thursday, February 21st, for businesses and Saturday, February 23rd, for regular folks. Tickets are $8

Christmas Eve Service this year will be at Patterson UMC in Patterson at 6:00, Monday, December 24th. Come and celebrate the birth of our Savior and Lord Jesus!

June 10th, 2018 we are celebrating the baptisms and confirmations of Braden & Laiten, plus the confirmation of Alayr. May God bless them and all of us at FUMC Berwick.

Maundy Thursday Communion Service is tonight, March 29th at 6:00. All are invited and encouraged to come and participate in God's grace.

This year, our Ash Wednesday Service will be at Patterson UMC on February 14th at 6:00 pm.

Christmas Eve Service will be Sunday the 24th at 6:00 p.m. All are invited for Christmas carols, sharing of the Christmas story by our choir, Holy Communion, and singing "Silent Night" by candlelight.

Church Rummage Sale at FUMC Berwick this Saturday, November 4th from 8:00 until we've sold enough (noonish). And, yes, we know that Patterson UMC is also having a sale same day, same time.

We mourn the loss of one of our former members, Mrs. Anna Trahan Price, through her death this week. Our prayers are with Mr. Don and all who knew and loved her. Funeral is Saturday, October 28th at 11:00 at Bayou Vista Baptist Church.

Let us continue to pray for those who are victims of Hurricane Harvey. May God's grace be seen. We are beginning to collect items for flood buckets, that we will bring to UMCOR Sager-Brown.

Vacation Bible School is July 9th - 13th from 5:30 - 8:30. Our theme is "Maker Fun Factory" (Created by God, built for a purpose).

Our sermons this summer will be on The Ten Commandments (a part of the law that Jesus did not come to abolish, but rather to fulfill). And, yes, Bro. Steve is returning for another year.

Today, May 4th, is National Day of Prayer. The Ministerial Alliance is sponsoring a prayer rally at the lighthouse in Berwick at 12:00 noon. Everyone is invited and encouraged to join us in prayer for our nation, state, and local communities.

Ash Wednesday Service will be held at FUMC Berwick at 6:00 p.m. on March 1st. All are welcome as we commit ourselves anew to seeking Christ and living righteous lives.
